Shweta Apte
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and a Post Graduate Education in Management Studies. I started my career as faculty in department of Computer Science in 2000. My focus area then was Operating Sytems, Network Engineering and Robotics. While I was teaching, advising students for their higher studies and career became my passion as I wanted to see them reaching heights in their career. Identifying students’ strengths and guiding them to take a well-informed decision came naturally to me. By then ,2004 I had identified Education Management is the area I would like to be in. Since 2004 I have been working in Education Management. My focus has been overseas education to offer blended education environment to students at bachelors and master’s level.

VIIE Timeline
2006
BS[IST]
We began our journey in 2006 with Pennsylvania State University introducing its first 2 + 2 credit transfer program in BS [Information Sciences and Technology] to incorporate a compelling blend of national and international teaching methodologies.
2009
BS[CS]
2009 we collaborated with California State University for a similar 2+2 program for BS [Computer Science]
2013
BBA
Owing to the success of our engineering students, we decided to diversify. We collaborated with the University of Toledo for the Bachelor of Business Administration 2+2 program in 2013
2015
BS[CS]
In 2015 we crossed the Hudson River and collaborated with Rutgers University for a 2 + 2 program for BS [Computer Science]
MBA
Not just that – 2015 was a good year for all MBA aspirants too as we started our 1 +1 program with the University of Toledo
2016
BBA
Then in 2016 we did our second collaboration for Bachelor of Business Administration 2+2 program with the University of South Carolina Aiken
BCIS
2016 was a big year for us, we collaborated with our first Canadian university – The University of Fraser Valley for Bachelor of Computer Information Systems (BCIS), which again is a 2 + 2 year program
BBA
We bagged our 2nd University in Britsh Columbia for the 2+2 Bachelors of Business Administration program
2017
BS[Communication]
Soon in 2017, we initiated our first collaboration for (BS)
Communications with the University of Sothern Illinois Edwardsville for 2+2 program

2018
BS [Computational Science]
In 2018, we initiated our collaboration with the University of South Carolina at Beaufort’s second campus for a Bachelor of Science 2+2 program in Computational Science
2019
Bachelor of Arts
In 2019 we collaborated with our third university in Canada, Thompson Rivers University for Bachelor of Arts 2+2 program.
BS [Computational Science]
2019 was again a huge milestone for us as we introduced our first 3+3 program in collaboration with the University of South Carolina Beaufort for BS [Computational Science]
2020
BBA
In 2020 we went to the land of Kangaroos and did our first Australian collaboration with Monash University “The G8 University” for a Bachelor of Business Administration 2+2 program.
MBA
In 2020 we went to Kentucky looking for Colonel recipe but returned with our second collaboration for our Master of Business Administration 1+1 program with Northern Kentucky University.
BA[Communication]
Amidst the global pandemic, we also onboarded our first university from New Zealand in 2020 – Victoria University of Wellington for our BA [Communications] 1+1 program.
2021
MS [Computational Science]
And very recently we did our 2nd collaboration with University of South Carolina – Beaufort for MS 3 years at VIIE + 2 Years in USA [Computational Science]
BS [Information Technology]
BS [Data science] May of 2021 was a big year for Vidyalankar and UToledo, we partnered with the universities for their Information Technology and Data Science 2+2 program
BBA
In 2021 we did our 2nd collaboration with the Thompson Rivers University for 2+2 (BBA) Bachelor of Business Administration
MABA [Master of Applied Business Analytics]
Later in 2021, we collaborated with UToledo for yet another 1+1 master’s program [Master of Applied Business Analytics] which has a little technical side to it for all our technical students out there.
2022
BS [Computing Systems]
In 2022, Unitec was one of the first CS/IT collaborations of Vidyalankar in New Zealand for Computer systems for our after 10th 3+3 Program & 2+2 for after 12th students
BS [Computer Science]
Again in 2022, we collaborated with University of Waikato in New Zealand for their Computer Science program for our after 10th 3+3 Program & 2+2 for after 12th students
BSc (Hons)
Cyber Security and Networking 2022 was a big year for new collaborations, we also added UK as one of the counties that students can go to with University of Central Lancashire for the 2+1 Program
BSc (Hons) Computing
Our 2nd collaboration in UK was with University of Greenwich for the 2+1 computing program in 2022
2023
MBus [Masters in Business]
And most recently looking at the shifting trends in education in New Zealand, we collaborated with University of Canterbury for our 1st ever 1+1 master’s in business program in New Zealand
Bachelor's
In 2023 we did our 2nd collaboration with the Victoria University for 1.5+2 years Bachelor of Information Technology & Bachelor of Business programs in Australia

We did our second collaboration in Australia with Macquarie University for our 1.5+2 Bachelor of Business program.
2024
Bachelor's
Started this year collaborating in USA with Alma College for 3 new programs Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Bachelor of Science Computer Engineering & Bachelor of Science in Business in the field of information technology & business.
